Let's Get it Series: Building your Personal Brand

Please join us for the second event of our "Let's Get It" professional development series. 
This second event will focus on building yourself up by aligning your goals with who you aspire to be - all stages of professionals welcomed!

Our speakers will be:

                                Dana Day


Dana is the Project Engineering Manager for Modular Power Sustaining Projects, responsible for the engineering projects affecting Lynnwood and Kaohsiung production. In her first year at Crane A&E she established a framework and gates for sustaining projects to operate under, while not limiting the team’s nimbleness and independence.
Prior to joining Crane A&E in January 2022, she was a technical project engineer for flight controls, airplane systems, and most recently, passenger seats at Boeing. She started her career as an MRB engineer on the 747 airplane, providing technical solutions to nonconformance issues. 
Beyond the workplace, Dana is a STEM Outreach Advocate and leader within the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) at the society and local levels. In 2015, Dana was a recipient of SWE’s Distinguished New Engineer award, a reflection of her achievements in her career, at SWE, and in her community. She helps lead her daughter’s girl scout troop and coaches her kids’ soccer team.

                Piper Duckett                            

Piper is a Seats Supply Chain Operations manager, responsible for development projects to bring customer directed seat designs to Boeing in time for their airplane delivery plans. She's been at Boeing for 12 years in a variety of roles, including Interiors with galleys, lavs and electrical inserts.  Piper was highlighted in BNN (Boeing News Network) for her inclusive "Boeing Behaviors" as a leader. Before Boeing, Piper had a 25 year career in retail with The Bon Marche (later Macy's) and excelled at a variety of roles from buyer, regional homestore manager, director of gift registry services, VP store manager and DVP Gatekeeper, managing communications and logistics between the corporate office and the stores. She's been married 38 years to a terrific, supportive husband and they are parents to two grown daughters. One of their daughters is transgender and they are supportive of LGBTQ rights for all.
